Tekna educational award gis til en bedrift/virksomhet innen offentlig eller privat sektor som har bidratt til å styrke teknisk-naturvitenskapelig utdanning ved UiS. Årets vinner var Norwegian Technology.

VELYKKET INVESTERING GIR FORNYET KONTRAKTER
Norwegian Technology AS has invested in equipment formerly owned by Nature Oil and Gas for treating heavier slop waste and slops. Using these units enables competitively priced, and reliable treatment of liquid waste on site. NT has also established new contracts with customers that have previously used these units.
We are pleased to report that these units are operating efficiently on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, in the Barents Sea and in Brazil, giving environmenally friendly results.
West Hercules
NORWEGIAN TECHNOLOGY DELTAR PÅ WEST HERCULES
Norwegian Technology AS will be taking part on the West Hercules drilling rig in the Barents Sea as a subcontractor for drilling waste treatment offshore. In addition to operation of our STU unit for heavy slops treatment and CTU unit for slop water processing, the NT personnel are helping with tanker washings and cuttings handling together with our partner JWS.
RUNE KVERNBERG IS NEW CEO FOR NORWEGIAN TECHNOLOGY
Rune Kvernberg has extensive experience from leading positions in the oil & gas industry, including: oil companies, technology companies and service companies. He also has considerable international experience, which includes several years as a resident of Houston, Texas.
Rune will energise and strengthen the management while ensuring good teamwork, communication and values. His main mission is to continue the ongoing “professionalization” of the company and its services to existing and new market segments.

KAVALA OIL AND ENERGEAN IN GREECE
Norwegian Technology AS widens their horizons. Since the beginning of 2019 Norwegian Technology has successfully treated 12 000 m3 of complex slop from 20 000 m3 total waste volume. This represents valuable experience and very effective results that will in turn lead to more work.

Norwegian Technology AS has been awarded a patent on its innovative technology that can efficiently treat drill cuttings offshore on-site at drilling rigs or at fixed installations for safe discharge of solids to sea bed with virtually no environmental impact.

FULL COMMERCIALISATION GRANT FROM INOVATION NORWAY
Norwegian Process Services AS, a subsidiary of Norwegian Technology AS, was awarded a full commercialisation grant from Innovation Norway on the 9th of October.
Our business idea has been recognized as significantly new in today’s market. We have plans and ambitions for substantial growth both in Norway and internationally.

STAVANGER SLOP IN MEKJARVIK
Norwegian Technology in partnership with Henriksen Olje-transport, www.henriksenolje.no, owns and operates the Stavanger Slop, www.slop.no, wastewater treatment plant in Mekjarvik, Stavanger
Stavanger Slop receives and treats oily water and other contaminated wastewaters. The treatment plant is equipped with six tanks for a total capacity of 4.500 m3 .
IVAR constructs and operates municipal facilities for water, waste water and general waste. IVAR’s vision is to secure the region`s most competitive water, waste water and waste services. IVAR is owned by the municipalities of Finnøy, Gjesdal, Hå, Klepp, Kvitsøy, Randaberg, Rennesøy, Sandnes, Sola, Stavanger, Hjelmeland and Time with a total population of approx. 320 000.
Norwegian Technology provides his technical solutions and chemicals to IVAR’s Municipal Waste Water Treatment Plant in Grødaland, municipality of Hå, in Jæren, Rogaland.
