Norwegian Recycling Services, owned by Norwegian Technology has been participating in a project at Mongstad together with Norsk Gjenvinning. The customer - Equinor Mongstad Refinery - introduced new exacting regulations. Oil from the Slam can no longer be sent away for disposal (red listed) meaning that the oil has to be used at the refinery. Norwegian Technology's thoughts and plans to invest in and develop a company for treatment of industrial waste have now been acted upon by restructuring former Stavanger Slop AS to become a 100% owned subsidiary. The new Operations Manager is Martin Schanche and a new board of directors are constituted.
